Once you have determined which items you do not use regularly, you should ask yourself whether or not you need to keep them, throw them away, or donate them. This will ensure that you reduce the amount of items that you have to manage as well as prevent having a home that appears cluttered and becomes easily messy. All seasonal and occasional items should be removed from each room and stored in closets, attics, or basements. This ensures that your living space is not cluttered with items that won’t receive use. Go through each room and look for objects that aren’t being used on a daily basis.
By keeping these boxes in your closet you’ll find that not only will your home remain organized and clutter free, but your closets will also have a clean and orderly appearance. When you are through organizing all of the rooms in your home, repeat the process with your closets, using additional decorative boxes if necessary.
